DriveSafety is a native Android app that disables the phone while driving to prevent distracted driving. Project features include worldwide integration with road speed limits and velocity-based activation to eliminate the need for manual interaction. Specific features include detecting when a phone is moving in a car, blocking notifications from a predetermined list while in motion, detecting when the device has been picked up, and blocking other apps from launching while in motion. DriveSafety also featured the ability to notify other users when the speed limit is exceeded, the device is picked up while in motion, or excessive braking is detected.
